VConnect ’15

VConnect the Techno Culture Fest is organized every year with the objective to highlight the dynamism of the youth of today by providing them a platform to perform and showcase their talent with a competitive spirit. The legacy of VSIT has been enduring living up to the grand tradition.

This year VConnect’15 was organized at the Institute premises on 25th-26th February, 2015 with great zeal, enthusiasm and determination.

The fest was inaugurated on 29th January 2015 by Honorable Chief Guests Prof. Yogesh Singh, Director, NSIT, Delhi, Prof. M.N. Hoda, Director, BVICAM, Delhi, Mr. V.K Gupta, Chairman IET Delhi Network, Mr. Pawan Duggal, Advocate, Cyber Law Expert, Dr. Anurag Jain, Asst. Prof. & Addl. Coordinator (Weekend Program), USICT, GGSIPU, Delhi, Dr. I. M Pandey, Director General, Delhi School of Business, Delhi, Prof. Marian Pinheiro, Principal Director, VIPS, Delhi, Brig. (Dr.) P. K. Saxena, VSM, Registrar (HR & Admin), VIPS & Dr. Supriya Madan, Director – IT, VIPS, Delhi.

25 events including Technical and Cultural events like Robo Race, Line Followers, Web Designing, Digital Encounter, Android App Development, Group Dance, Street Play, Treasure Hunt, Rap Rock etc. were well planned, coordinated and successfully executed. It was overwhelming to have around 4000 student participation from various Colleges/Universities of Delhi and NCR . The winners for all the events were awarded with cash prizes, gift vouchers and certificates.

The concluding day events were followed by a dual blast. The live performances of RJ Rahul Makin from OYE 104.8 FM and the famous VH1 Supersonic Rock Stars , Progressive Brothers took the audience by storm. The VConnect team headed by Ms. Kanta Malik and other faculty members aimed at inspiring the youth to elevate aspirations, face challenges, stay focused and achieve big.

The VSIT family feels proud on successful conclusion of the fest with the whole hearted and unconditional support of the Management, Director, Faculty, Admin Staff and Students of VSIT.
